Curating Your Style

You have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. Are tired of endless try-ons, panic shopping, and often wish you were wearing something else. But don’t know what that “something else” is.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

You can love how you look, knowing what you’re wearing feels right, looks right, and is right.

Every day.

Every time.

If you’re here…

About

I’ve worked in fashion throughout my life.

As a catalogue model, I learned the importance of fabric and fit.

As an associate at Gucci in Boston, a stylist at a boutique just outside the city, and a personal stylist and shopper for clients across New England, I’ve learned the importance of cut and proportion.

And I’ve learned that every woman, on every budget, has a unique sense of style. Yet they struggle with how to express it, especially during times of transition.

All of us question our choices as we move from one decade to the next. We’re told there are strict rules to follow — when there aren’t.

And we’ve been led to believe that if we don’t love how we look in clothes, that something is wrong with us — when really, there’s something wrong with what we’re wearing.

I’ve made it my mission to help.

In the least intimidating, most accessible way possible, we can end your outfit anxiety, build a wardrobe you love, and curate your style.

XO,

Mary

The Essential 10: Wardrobe Basics That Will Change How You Dress

Getting the basics right is everything.

This is where we’ll start.

You may already have some of these gems in your closet. Finding them, and filling in the rest, is the most essential part of your wardrobe, your style, and our work together.

With a shortlist of versatile, quality classics, you’ll have endless possibilities to mix and match, and the foundation you need to build on.

Fabric and fit are the keys to great style.

We’ll pay extra attention to natural fiber, because like timeless design, it lasts (and lasts).

We’ll make sure the cut is ideal for your proportions. Then, we’ll obsess over fit — because the impact of getting it right is transformative.

That doesn’t mean overspending. Even budget-friendly pieces can be customized by a skilled tailor (and I know them all).

The difference.

Having your own Essential 10 will change how you dress, how you feel about getting dressed, and how you feel in your clothes. Not by a little. A lot.

And don’t worry, we won’t forget about shoes and accessories.

So, what’s on the list?

Process & Services

  • It’s your style. I’ll help you define it with a quick in-take form and fun conversations that help clarify your profile. You’ll tell me about how you live, your likes and dislikes, biggest frustrations, inspirations, and when you feel your best.

  • I come to your house with an empty clothes rack and we tackle your closet. Get ready to try things on as we make a decision about what you’ll give or keep. We’ll donate what no longer works and rediscover what you already have, especially looking for The Essential 10.

  • With the “keep” items clear, we’ll reimagine new outfits, head to toe. And you won’t have to remember what goes with what. I’ll take a picture of you in each, so inspiration is at your fingertips. We’ll reload your closet with a streamlined system. And with the getting-dressed-guesswork gone, you’ll be ready for anything - from errands to weekends away.

  • We now know what you have - and what you need. If you’re missing something from The Essential 10, we’ll make thoughtful decisions to fill those gaps. And we won’t embark on a long shopping odyssey - because I know every brand that works at every budget for every body type.

“Mary is my go-to person for all things style, whether it is for advice in selecting more flattering attire and jewelry for a special event, or shopping for just the right boots for fall fashion or even ordering tailored suiting for a work event.

I rely on her patience, sense of humor and judgment when sorting through my closet. And she knows how to streamline a wardrobe down to what really works for you.

She helps you organize so you can see and access your best items, and she’ll even group them into outfits to make your busy mornings more carefree.

Mary’s talent is uplifting. She has a real eye for finding the details that accentuate your best features. And she makes the process fun with her positive outlook.  I have learned not to hesitate in contacting her if I need any help shopping, organizing, or even quick last minute style advice before an event.

She has her finger on the pulse of all the latest trends, so I don’t have to!”

“My work with Mary exceeded all my expectations. Our journey began with a deep dive into my existing wardrobe. She didn't just glance at my closet; she had me try on every single item. Her keen eye and supportive approach helped me let go of over half my clothes it—items that were the wrong size, outdated, or no longer aligned with my style. She then helped me build a strategic shopping list of core basics, transforming the overwhelming task of building a wardrobe into an achievable plan.

Before our shopping trip, she had me create a Pinterest board, which she studied meticulously. When we met to shop, she was already armed with an understanding of my aesthetic. For four hours, she was a force of nature—pulling items that not only fit my budget but also my body, my newly defined style, and even the specific colors from my professional color analysis. The method was brilliant: we started with bottoms and built versatile outfits around them, ensuring every piece was multifunctional.

I walked away with a curated collection of perfect pieces—from everyday black pants to a slightly avant-garde black dress—that all work together seamlessly. She has a true gift for translating a client's inspiration into a functional, confident-making reality. Her passion is undeniable, and her talent is professional-grade. Any client who works with Mary will not only get a better wardrobe but a renewed sense of confidence. I cannot recommend her services highly enough!"

“I had the opportunity to work with Mary in 2023. I was one-year postpartum and my body felt different and nothing fit quite right. I was also back to work in a professional setting after having been fully remote for much of the pandemic. All to say, I couldn’t figure out how to dress myself to go to work in anything other than what was essentially a t-shirt and jeans!

Mary came to my house and did a closet evaluation. She went through virtually every piece of clothing I owned, helping me figure out what to toss or donate and how to style what decent pieces I did have. Then she identified some basics that we would shop for together.

On our shopping trip, Mary introduced me to stores / brands that ended up working well for me and showed me some basic styling techniques. Two+ years later and fashion has become something that sparks joy for me and helps me feel confident at work. I’ve even level-upped my weekend lounge-around / athletic wear, so even though I’m a busy mom chasing around a toddler, at least I look like a "cool mom" now (sometimes, haha’s — it’s still a work in progress!). Mary’s knowledge and love of fashion and her fun personality made it such a gift to work with her!”
